I'm very happy you're reading this! Happy wednesday...

Let's start with two essential tips

Tip 1: Set a Morning Routine

They say the early bird catches the worm, and as a dad, starting your day off on the right foot can make all the difference. That’s why I recommend setting a morning routine to kickstart your day with positivity and purpose.

  • Consistency is Key: Setting up a regular morning routine adds structure and steadiness to your days. Whether it's getting up at the same time every day, having a cup of coffee, or taking a few minutes for quiet reflection, a routine helps you start your day right.
  • Boost Your Productivity: A good morning routine can increase your productivity, helping you confidently manage your daily tasks.

WHAT I DO: I wake up at 5 am and start with a 5-minute breathing exercise—it really makes a difference. Then, I have breakfast and head out for training. By the time I leave, I've spent an hour by myself. Whatever you do after that, you'll do better—guaranteed!

Tip 2: Weekly menu

Let's be honest – mealtime can get pretty hectic, especially with work, family, and other commitments all demanding attention. However, a bit of planning and preparation can make meals simpler and less stressful for you and your family.

  • Create a weekly menu: Setting up a weekly menu clears your mind and saves cooking time. Each week gets easier, making you more comfortable in the kitchen without needing to spend time thinking about what to cook.
  • Healthy Eating Made Easy: Meal prep is more than just a time-saver; it's also about making healthier food choices. By planning and preparing nutritious meals in advance, you can steer clear of unhealthy fast food and takeout, ensuring your family enjoys well-balanced meals that are good for their body and mind.

WHAT I DO: I have a basic weekly dinner menu planned out, which includes carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins. For examples, Mondays are for lentil soup with spelt, salad and fish, Tuesdays for meat, rice and veggies, Wednesdays for pasta with broccoli and scrambled eggs, Thursdays for backed fish, potatoes and veggies, and Fridays for frittata with peas and mixed salad. The weekend is open for whatever we feel like eating. This way, I know exactly what we need when we go grocery shopping, but there's always room to mix things up while keeping the menu in mind.

Until next wednesday,
